Where do stars come from? No one knows than better than Billy Elliot’s Mrs.Wilkinson, the down-on-her-luck ballet teacher who discovers and nurtures young Billy’s dreams of dance. But with Emily Skinner returning to Broadway in the role, this star-maker is a star herself! Skinner was nominated for a Tony Award (with Alice Ripley) for her role as a conjoined twin in Side Show, and also appeared on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde, James Joyce’s The Dead, The Full Monty and Dinner at Eight. After a stint on the national tour of hit musical Billy Elliot, she's back on Broadway teaching ballet and chain smoking in Billy’s British coal mining town—and taking time out of her busy schedule to answer your questions!
